Systems Engineer 

As a Systems Engineer working on a large project, you will solve complex technical issues and ensure the improvement and maintenance of a series of container-systems purchased by the Dutch Ministry of Defence. These containers will function as mobile offices and contain modern technologies and means of communication that you will take care of.

The containers contain subsystems such as air conditioning, humidifiers, diesel heaters, and generators. You will write instructions for regular checks, repairs, and modifications.

You will be a connecting factor between all stakeholders. You’ll also focus on continuous improvement initiatives. Communication with internal and external parties will be a big part of your job as well. You will discuss matters like engineering, reparations, modifications, and innovation. Your leadership skills and technical insight are essential and you will be a key player in existing and future projects.

Job requirements
  • You can ensure that all technical proposals meet the requirements and expectations of the customer.
  • Your planning and organisational skills are good.
  • You are familiar with the following software: 3D and 2D CAD, Inventor, CATIA, and AutoCAD.
  • You have knowledge of electricity and climate control and/or HVAC systems.
  • Dutch language skills are required, English language skills are a plus.
  • You can conduct field research.
  • You have knowledge about repair and modification design techniques in the following areas: electrical (low to high voltage), HVAC systems, diesel heating, HMI panels, etc.
  • You can make mechanical redesigns (make minor technical changes).

Systeemengineer

Als systeemingenieur binnen een groot project werk je aan complexe technische vraagstukken en zorg je voor de verbetering en instandhouding van een reeks aangekochte containersystemen van de Nederlandse Defensie. Deze containers die gaan fungeren als mobiele kantoren bevatten moderne technologieën en communicatiemiddelen waar jij zorg voor zult dragen.

De containers bevatten ook een groot aantal 'subsystemen' waaronder airconditioning, luchtbevochtigers, dieselkachels en generatoren. Jij zult instructies uitschrijven voor controles, reparaties en modificaties.

‍

Ook is er leiderschap en technisch inzicht nodig voor bestaande en toekomstige projecten. Jij zult een verbindende factor zijn tussen alle belanghebbenden. Ook buig jij je over continue verbeteringsinitiatieven. Je zult veel communiceren met interne en externe partijen over zaken als engineering, reparaties en modificaties.

Functie-eisen
  • Je zorgt ervoor dat alle technische voorstellen voldoen aan de eisen en de verwachtingen van de klant.
  • Je kunt samenwerken met meerdere technische disciplines om uitdagingen te overwinnen.
  • Je beschikt over goede plannings- en organisatorische vaardigheden.
  • Je kunt werken met 3D- en 2D CAD-software (Inventor, CATIA, AutoCAD).
  • Je hebt kennis van elektriciteit en klimaatbeheersing/HVAC-systemen.
  • Nederlandse taalvaardigheid is vereist, Engelse taalvaardigheid is een pre.
  • Je kunt veldonderzoek verrichten.
  • Je beschikt over reparatie- en modificatie-ontwerptechnieken op de volgende vlakken; elektrisch (laag- tot hoogspanning), HVAC-systemen, dieselverwarming, HMI-paneel/panelen etc.
  • Je kunt mechanische herontwerpen maken (kleine technische wijzigingen aanbrengen).
