As a Senior Electrical BIM Modeler, you will be responsible for designing electrical installations. You will work independently on various projects andbe a key knowledge holder within the BIM team. Additionally, you will coach your colleagues and contribute to the development of their skills. Your goal is to create top designs and detailed execution drawings for your colleagues in construction, so they can realize the project.
Your daily tasks include drawing and modeling electrical installations, such as lighting, power, low-voltage, and emergency power installations. You will create floor plans, details, cross-sections, and layout drawings, including group codes. Sometimes you will work from specifications, but mostly you will receive only a sketch to work from. You will mainly work from the office and from home, but you will also regularly go to project locations for consultation with the construction team and for revision work.
As a Senior Electrical BIM Modeler, you are also responsible for coaching (Junior) BIM Modelers and sharing your knowledge of Electrical BIM Modeling. You contribute to the overall knowledge development of the department and ensure that your colleagues can develop themselves.
• Completed MBO education in Electrical Engineering required
• Minimumof 3 to 5 years of experience as a BIM Modeler of electrical installations in utilities
• Knowledgeof Autocad and Stabicad for Revit and experience with 3D BIM modeling required
• Knowledge of regulations, guidelines, and standards such as NEN1010, NEN3140, and NEN5152 necessary
• Able to organize both your own work and that of the team and work result-oriented
• Teamplayer and communicative skills in Dutch and English

Als Senior BIM Modelleur Elektrotechniek ben jijverantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen van elektrotechnische installaties. Je werkt zelfstandig aan diverse projecten en bent een belangrijke kennisdrager binnen het BIM-team. Daarnaast coach je jouw collega's en draag je bij aan de ontwikkeling van hun vaardigheden. Jouw doel is om top ontwerpen te maken en gedetailleerde uitvoeringstekeningen te creëren voor jouw collega's, zodat zij het project kunnen realiseren.
Jouw dagelijkse taken bestaan uit het tekenen en modelleren van elektrotechnische installaties, zoals verlichting, krachtstroom, zwak stroom en noodstroominstallaties. Je maakt plattegronden, details, doorsnedes en opstellingstekeningen inclusief groepscoderingen. Soms werk je vanuit een bestek, maar meestal krijg je alleen een schets waaruit je zelf aan de slag gaat. Je werkt voornamelijk vanuit kantoor en thuis, maar je gaat ook regelmatig naar projectlocaties voor overleg met de uitvoering en voorrevisiewerkzaamheden.
Als Senior BIM Modelleur Elektrotechniek ben je ook verantwoordelijk voor het coachen van (Junior) BIM Modelleurs en het delen van jouw kennis op het gebied van Elektrotechnisch BIM Modelleren. Je draagt bij aan de algemene kennisontwikkeling van de afdeling en zorgt ervoor dat jouw collega's zich kunnen ontwikkelen.
