Process Engineer

Within the structure of a Dutch family-owned business, you will work as a full-time Process Engineer. You will create data sheets, process reports, and manuals. Also, you will be responsible for designing complete installations.

You will use the software AutoCAD Plant 3D to create Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs). The Mechanical Engineers — your direct colleagues — will transform your designs into 3D models. You will later report these 3D models to the project manager.

You will be in frequent contact with third-party manufacturers regarding installation components. Also, you will give technical advice — regarding process equipment, pumps and instruments — to the buyers involved. Want to go abroad? That’s great because there is a possibility for you to be involved in the buildup of international installations.

Job requirements:
  • You are familiar with software like AutoCAD Plant 3D and MS Office.
  • You have a diploma in either Sanitary Engineering or Chemical Process Technology.
  • You are familiar with the following process documentation: PID and datasheets.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience is an advantage.
  • Experience in the field of oils, gas, or water is excellent (but not required).
  • You are flexible and can work independently.
  • You work in a structured and accurate way.
  • You have a reliable and discreet character.
  • Your general communication skills are good.
  • Your English communication skills are good (both writing and speech).

Process Engineer‍

Als proces engineer binnen een groot familiebedrijf maak je datasheets, procesbeschrijvingen, handleidingen en ontwerp je complete installaties. Middels gebruik van AutoCAD Plant 3D maak je Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) en Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs). De Mechanical Engineers  —  jouw directe collega’s  —  zullen de door jou ontworpen processen uitwerken in 3D-modellen. Jij rapporteert deze vervolgens aan de projectmanager.

Je zult frequent contact hebben met externe fabrikanten over installatieonderdelen. Aan de betrokken inkopers geef je ook advies op het gebied van procesapparatuur, pompen en instrumenten. Heb je buitenlandse ambities? Dat komt goed uit, want mocht je graag ingezet willen worden bij het opstarten van buitenlandse installaties is dit bespreekbaar.

Functie-eisen:
  • Je kunt goed overweg met AutoCAD Plant 3D en MS Office.
  • Je hebt een diploma van een of beide opleidingen: Sanitary Engineering of Chemische Procestechnologie.
  • Je bent bekend met de volgende procesdocumentaties: PID en datasheets.
  • 3 à 5 jaar relevante werkervaring is een pre.
  • Ervaring in olie,  gas, of afvalwaterbehandeling is geweldig (maar geen vereiste).
  • Je bent flexibel en kunt goed zelfstandig werken.
  • Je werkt gestructureerd en nauwkeurig.
  • Je hebt een betrouwbaar en discreet karakter.
  • Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden.
  • Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Engelse taal (zowel spreken als schrijven).
